STEPS TO APPLY:

1. Complete this application and submit non-refundable application fee. You may fill in N/A if applicable.
2. You will need to attach copies to this application of your child's birth certificate and a recent photo. Please include copies of IEP's or Psych/Educational reports, if applicable.
3. Download transcript request/teacher questionnaire form and give to your child's current school. These forms are available on the TDSA website and below:

Further requirements for admissions:
  • All students must have an up to date GA Certificate of Immunization (3231).
  • Transcripts and completed teacher questionnaire submitted by your child's current school.
  • If a new student, not in Kindergarten, applies by the Feb 6, 2024 deadline, the family will receive a decision or a scheduled follow-up meeting by the end of February.
  • For incoming kindergarten students, decisions will be based on scheduling group screenings with their preschools. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific date, but strive to have them all completed by the end of March.
  • For any student applying after the deadline, TDSA will contact you within 1 week following the submission of your completed application to start the screening process. Screening typically takes 3 weeks from time of application.
  • Applications submitted between Jul 1-start of school risk a delayed start date for the student/s.

DEADLINES & FEES:


  • Non refundable fee of $250 by February 6, 2024.
  • If applying after Feb 6, 2024, application fee is $300.

Payment is accepted by debit or credit card only.




TUITION ASSISTANCE DEADLINES & FEES:
Please remember that you must first complete the new-student application BEFORE the Tuition Assistance Committee (TAC) will evaluate your Tuition Assistance assessment.

TDSA strives to make sure that financial challenges do not prevent any student from attending. Applications for tuition assistance are made via the FACTS system. A fee of $40 is required. You will need to have the following information ready and available:

* Completed FACTS form
* W2 from current year
* FULL Tax return from previous year
* IRA/401K statements(if applicable)
* Brokerage statements (if applicable)
* Divorce decrees and or settlement documents (if applicable)

All tuition assistance applications are due no later than February 28, 2024 (or within 2 weeks of your application, if applying later than Feb 28). Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Incomplete applications are defined as missing information or one of the required documents by the deadline.

TIMELINE FOLLOWING APPLICATION AND FACTS APPLICATION SUBMISSION

  • Feb 28, 2024 Completed Tuition Assistance application due.
  • March 25, 2024 Enrollment contracts sent, which will include tuition amounts, for those who applied on time.
  • April 15, 2024 Enrollment contracts due back AND payment plans confirmed in ParentLocker, for those who applied on time.
    • Families completing their enrollment contract and payment plan after April 15, 2024 will be assessed a $500 late fee, which will not be applied towards tuition.
    • July 1-start of school: All tuition decisions placed on hold for returning and in-town families. Contracts and payment plans not confirmed by July 1 may be put on hold until after the start of school.
  • Please note: Minimum tuition (exclusive of application fee and building fund) is $6,063 per child. Your tuition assessment will be between $6,063 and full tuition, per child.

  • Families requesting reduced tuition must complete ONLY the online FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application. The fee to apply is $40, payable directly to FACTS. Please click here for the FACTS application. The link is also available on the TDSA website .
